Wood borer or termites?
Wood borers leave round exit holes and fine, flour-like powder. Termites leave mud tubes and hollow-sounding wood with no holes on the surface. If you see mud tubes, you need termite treatment instead.
Our treatment
- InspectionWe locate active holes and check nearby furniture and frames.
- InjectionApproved wood preservative is injected into exit holes and galleries.
- Surface treatmentExposed surfaces are brushed or sprayed to stop new eggs being laid.
- SealingHoles are filled with wax so new activity is easy to spot.
